Well let me start off by saying that...No,
I am not a gun toting fool that seeks revenge on every single
person that honks their horn at me by shooting them. I mean geez,
my friend was telling me the other day that a woman shot two guys
in their car just because SHE was double parked and they came
out asking her to leave. How stupid can you be?? Of course she
was locked away! Good riddance to those kinds of people!
Now that I am done ranting, here
is a little info on me and guns. I, like a lot of other boys,
always found weapons really cool. I remember growing up watching
A-Team all the time...hannibal and his AK-47 toting group going
all over the place helping people with their problems. Well, once
I was in high school, I started to subscibe to Guns and Ammo magazine.
From there, I learned how to safely handle a firearm amongst other
things.
Living in California, the land of
the gun lobbyist, I understood that most gun laws would start
here before going to another state. Well, in 1999, the inevitable
happened. The rifle that I had always wanted to own/shoot, was
banned. The Colt AR-15 rifle was put onto an Assautl Rifle ban
list that anti-gun politicians made up. Firstly, the AR-15 IS
NOT an assault rifle. An assault rifle by definition is any firearm
that is capable of switching between automatic and semi-auto fire.
Meaning, if I wanted to fire one bullet per trigger pull, I would
select semi-auto. Otherwise, I would select automatic to fire
bullets as long as I have the trigger pulled. The Colt does not
have that option! For every pull of the trigger, You will only
fire one bullet.
Anyways, well tuff cookies for me
I guess right? I can't get an AR-15 no matter what now in California.....well
unless I do it illegally. So now I am looking towards the Springfield
Armory M1A rifle! Though I am in a tough spot. I really want to
be able to shoot this rifle. I mean I don't want it to turn out
to be like the AR-15...where CA bans it before I get to touch
it. On the other hand, I don't want to have a gun in the house.
I know that a rifle is a bit different from a handgun, but I still
can't bring myself to have a gun in the house. Right now, I was
hoping to find a shooting range that would allow me to buy a space
and store my rifle there if I decided on buying it. That way I
could own the gun without having to bring it home. Dunno though..
Anyways, well I guess for this section
of my webpage, I am going to have pictures of all different kinds
of rifles, handguns, airsoft guns, etc. So check back here if
you are interested in hearing reviews about certain features firearms...or
just to check out my pictures that I will be putting up.
